When I'm Feeling Low...

I remember how during one quick weekend visit with the little guy, I helped him assemble some tricky railroad tracks and he told me, "You're the bestest Oma there ever was!" I could live very happily with that designation forever, but then ... He was running the loop around the living room coffee table and kitchen island (conveniently designed for that purpose, I'm sure) calling out, "I'm a flying zebra!" and "I'm a flying alligator!" and so on through a variety of jungle animals. In the middle of one loop I called out, "You're a flying hedgehog!" He stopped so fast he nearly fell over, and when he had finished laughing said, "You're the funniest girl I ever knew!" What more could I possibly ask for?!
