Little Old Lady Alert, Part 2
September 26, 2018
I was on a state highway. I wasn't going far, so I stayed in the right-hand lane. The speed limit was 55, but I was doing 65-70 to avoid being run over.
A large, black pick-up truck zoomed up behind me and sat on my bumper. Clearly, I was in his way, but there was a tractor-trailer on my left and a very narrow shoulder on my right. Where did he think I was going to go?
Briefly, I considered activating my super-power that enables me, with the car, to levitate fifteen feet straight up in the air. But I've never been one to reward bad behavior, so I didn't.
After a few minutes, the semi on the left pulled forward enough for the pick-up to move over, pass me (what a relief!), and then . . . pull directly in front of me.
Once when I had accidentally cut in front of someone, that driver pulled out and around me and slid right in front of me, making me slam on my brakes. I assumed he was teaching me a lesson.
I figured that was what was happening here, but no. He continued to the right, getting off at the exit.
What just happened? Why?
Not a clue.
